New Homes in Scottsdale

Scottsdale, Arizona is the perfect blend of luxury and desert living!

Its claim to fame includes its many spa resorts and golf courses — actually having more destination spas per capita than any other city in the US. Scottsdale is an epicenter of leisure between the resorts, spas, and world-renown golf courses including TPC Scottsdale, a range of other public and private courses, and one of the most revered private courses in the country, Whisper Rock. But, if golf isn’t your game, there are plenty of other green spaces to get outdoors and soak up the 300 days of perfect Arizona sunshine. The Scottsdale Greenbelt is a 12-mile long park connecting four city parks with a 25-mile bike path, or you can stroll about Old Town Scottsdale enjoying the historic 1920s buildings and olive trees from the 1800s.

The cultural hub of Scottsdale is centered greatly in Old Town with the largest shopping mall in Arizona, Scottsdale Fashion Square, as well as the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, the Scottsdale Historical Museum, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, and many award-winning restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and art galleries. The Old Town art galleries are especially active with a Scottsdale Artwalk held every Thursday evening for the public to visit over 125 professional art galleries and studios — one of the highest number of galleries per capita for any city in the US. Simply put, you will never be short on something to do.

Scottsdale is the host of several annual events that attract visitors from all over the world:

  • Barrett Jackson Auto Show

  • Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show

  • Scottsdale Arts Festival — ranked #1 in the US

  • Parada del Sol — the world’s largest horse-drawn parade with over 150 entries

  • Scottsdale Fashion Week

  • Scottsdale Culinary Festival — the longest continually running festival of its kind

  • Scottsdale International Film Festival

  • Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships

  • Major League Baseball Spring Training Games — Scottsdale is the spring training base for the San Francisco Giants, Colorado Rockies, and the Arizona Diamondbacks

It’s not surprising that there is so much to do in Scottsdale, as its population is just shy of a quarter million and ranks as the 45th largest city in the United States. North Scottsdale borders the Tonto National Forest, which is the 5th largest national forest in the US and the largest in Arizona. The area provides magnificent desert experiences including hiking trails through McDowell Sonoran Preserve and the McDowell Mountain Regional Park. Scottsdale’s eastern and southern boundary meets the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, which includes two casinos, Talking Stick Resort and Casino Arizona, as well as the only public community college located on tribal land, Scottsdale Community College.
